Echovasc provides three physician-ordered cardiac diagnostic tests on site at participating family medicine clinics, with the equipment, supplies and diagnostic professional coordinated by us.
Echocardiography
A cardiac ultrasound, performed in your exam room.
An echocardiogram uses ultrasound to image the heart's chambers, valves and surrounding structures and to assess how the heart is pumping. It is a common, non-invasive test ordered by physicians as part of cardiac assessment.
At a participating clinic, Echovasc's diagnostic professional performs the study during a scheduled service day using portable echocardiography equipment we bring with us. The clinic books its own patients into the day.
How it is coordinated
- The clinic provides a suitable room and schedules patients
- Echovasc brings the equipment, supplies and sonographer
- Studies are handled through Echovasc's established workflow
- Reports are returned to the referring physician through established reporting arrangements
Interpretation and reporting are carried out by qualified physicians under arrangements established for each clinic. Clinical follow-up remains with the patient's own physician.
Contrast echocardiography
A clearer view when a standard echo is not enough.
Contrast echocardiography is an echocardiogram performed with an ultrasound contrast agent. The ordering physician may request it when image quality from a standard study is expected to be limited, so that the heart's chambers and wall motion can be seen more clearly.
At participating clinics where the clinical and site arrangements for contrast are in place, the study is performed by Echovasc's diagnostic professional during a scheduled service day, in the same way as a standard echocardiogram.
How it is coordinated
- Ordered by the physician for selected patients
- Offered only where the required clinical and site arrangements are in place
- Equipment, contrast supplies and the sonographer coordinated by Echovasc
- Reports are returned to the referring physician through established reporting arrangements

Holter monitoring
Heart rhythm recorded during normal daily life.
A Holter monitor is a small, wearable device that records the heart's electrical activity continuously, typically for 72 hours. It is used to look for rhythm changes that a brief in-office ECG might not capture.
Unlike echocardiography, which images the heart at one point in time, Holter monitoring records rhythm over time while the patient goes about their day. The two tests answer different questions and are often ordered separately.
How it is coordinated
- Monitors are fitted at the clinic on a scheduled day
- Patients receive written instructions and are asked to note any symptoms
- Monitors are returned to the clinic at the end of the recording period
- Recordings are processed and results returned to the referring physician

A service day only works when scheduling, equipment, people and reporting line up. Echovasc coordinates all four so the clinic's day runs as usual.

Service days are planned with the clinic in advance and repeated on a regular cadence that suits the practice's volume.
Equipment and supplies
Portable echocardiography equipment, contrast supplies, Holter monitors and everything else needed for each test come with our team.
Qualified personnel
Testing is performed by Echovasc's registered diagnostic professionals.
Reporting
Completed studies move through Echovasc's established systems and physician reporting arrangements, and reports are returned to the referring physician.
